The Model One Voyager, on the other hand, is an affordable scooter with a twist to its retail model. Riders wanting a good quality scooter usually have to pre-budget to have the funds necessary to make the purchase when they're not opting for scooter financing. The Voyager, however, lifts this access barrier by offering a membership plan. This subscription-based ownership model lets members pay just $79/ a month to own the electric scooter for the duration of the subscription.

The Turboant M10 Lite electric scooter is more your speed if you want to lie low, with a functional but not stand-out design. Its plain black aesthetic goes with all seasons and occasions, but if you want your scooter to command a presence, try either the cobalt blue, latte, cool mist, or matte black Voyager.

Ride Quality

The M10 Lite's ride quality is uncharacteristic of most budget scooters: It's quite comfortable. The Unagi won't float through clouds, but it holds its own on well-maintained city tracks.

Tires

The Turboant M10 Lite electric scooter downgrades from the predecessor's (M10 Pro) 10-inch air tires and now comes with 8.5-inch pneumatic tires with inner tubes. To be clear, they still get the job done. You get a cushioned ride in the absence of suspension, and they have good traction and handling.

The manufacturer suggests an ideal PSI of 40. However, note that because they have inner tubes, they are highly susceptible to punctures. Suspension

The Turboant M10 Lite alternatively has a net weight of 30.86 lbs, which is only marginally heavier, but, when folded, it occupies a larger space with dimensions of 44.49" x 19.69" x 20.48". Compared to most other commuters, it is within an excellent rating for portability and has a seamless folding mechanism. However, it doesn't come close to the convenience of the Model One Voyager scooter.

Water-Resistance

Both scooters are IP-rated and can afford to get caught up in sudden light showers. The Voyager is IPX4-rated, while the Turboant M10 Lite is IP54-rated. App and Controls

The M10 Lite electric scooter features an updated display console from the original M10. While the curved design on the original M10 Pro was aesthetically pleasing, the control placement left you needing to take your hands off the throttle, or the safer option, come to a halt before accessing them.

The Turboant M10 Lite electric scooter has a more functional console that's smaller but features anti-glare technology, meaning it will be visible in sunlight. The buttons are within reach and intuitive to use, and the thumb throttle is ergonomically designed despite having short travel. The parenthesis symbols around the speed interestingly denote battery status, and when the last one goes red, get ready to disembark as there's not much power left.

Watch out for the cruise control function that suddenly comes on when you hold a constant speed for a few seconds. Cruise control on the M10 Lite electric scooter is only deactivated by completely letting off the throttle or holding down the brake lever, but it does not have the option of completely turning it off. The USB charging port is, however, nice to have in emergencies.

The Voyager electric scooter, on the other hand, has a basic integrated console that's easy to read and has one control button.
